Jeppe Stærk, Denmark (“we”, “us”, or “our”) built Mind Tracker as a personal journaling application. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use the app.
We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any personal information. Mind Tracker does not require an account, does not ask for your name or email, and does not track your activity.
All journal entries you create — including event descriptions, thoughts, feelings, and intensity levels — are stored exclusively on your device and in your personal Apple iCloud account. This data may include sensitive health-related information such as anxiety levels, moods, and emotional states. All such data remains under your control and is never transmitted to us or any third party.
Mind Tracker uses Apple’s CloudKit to sync your journal entries across your devices via your own iCloud account. CloudKit uses push notifications to keep your data in sync — this involves Apple processing a device token, which is managed entirely by Apple. Your synced data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy and is not accessible to us. You can manage or delete your iCloud data through your device’s Settings.
Mind Tracker does not use any analytics services, advertising frameworks, or third-party tracking tools. We do not collect usage data or device information.
If you have opted in to share app analytics with developers through your device’s Settings (Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements), Apple may provide us with anonymized and aggregated crash logs and usage statistics through App Store Connect. This data is collected and managed by Apple under their privacy policy and cannot be used to identify you. You can opt out of this sharing at any time in your device’s Settings.
Mind Tracker does not integrate with any third-party services. The app uses only Apple’s built-in frameworks.
Mind Tracker does not collect personal information from anyone, including children (under the age of 13 in the US, or the relevant age in other jurisdictions). Since no data is transmitted to us, the app’s data practices are the same regardless of the user’s age.
Since all data is stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account, you can delete your data at any time by deleting individual entries within the app or by deleting the app entirely. Removing the app removes all local data. To remove iCloud data, go to Settings > Apple Account > iCloud > Storage on your device.
The processing of your data is based on the necessity to perform the contract (providing the app’s functionality) and your explicit control over your own storage.
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, or port your data. Because Mind Tracker does not collect or store your data on our servers, these rights are exercised directly on your device or through your Apple iCloud account. If you have questions about exercising your rights, please contact us.
If we update this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be posted at the same URL with an updated date. For material changes, we will notify you through an in-app notice. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
